The study employed a cross-sectional design with a total sample of 80 PLHIV. Data were obtained from medical records and a validated adherence questionnaire. Analysis was performed using Chi-square tests and multivariate logistic regression. The results showed that ARV adherence had a significant effect on viral load levels (p = 0.001; Exp(B) = 0.045), where non-adherent individuals had a 22-times higher risk of having a detectable viral load. The duration of HIV diagnosis was also significant (p = 0.006; Exp(B) = 0.086), while comorbidities were not statistically significant (p = 0.078) but clinically relevant (Exp(B) = 8.696). Both variables acted as confounders in the relationship between adherence and viral load. The study concludes that ARV adherence plays a crucial role in reducing viral load. Comorbidities and the duration of HIV diagnosis influence adherence and should be considered in therapeutic interventions. Education-based, counseling, and family-support interventions need to be strengthened to improve long-term adherence.
2026-02-16T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Advances In Social Humanities Research https://adshr.org/index.php/vo/article/view/543 Vipassana Meditation Technique by Satya Narayan Goenka at Dhamma Java Bogor 2026-02-20T08:32:09+00:00 Eko Susiono viriyaoke@gmail.com I Wayan Suka Yasa sukayasa273@gmail.com Ida Ayu Komang Arniati Idaayuarniati@unhi.ac.id
In the modern era, many individuals experience spiritual emptiness and mental health disorders due to the pressures of life and loss of meaning in life. S.N. Goenka's technique of Vipassana meditation is present as an alternative to spiritual practice that emphasizes the observation of bodily sensations without ritual and is non-sectarian, thus attracting the interest of lay practitioners from various backgrounds. This research examines one of the rapidly growing practices in Indonesia today: the vipassana meditation technique used by S.N. Goenka. This technique is unique and interesting to study in depth because it uses direct observation of bodily sensations, without rituals, without note-taking, and without jhana requirements, thus attracting modern lay practitioners. This study integrates the reasons why vipassana meditation has not been beneficial for physical and mental health. Based on holistic theory, yoga sutra theory, and Buddhist meditation, it compares, aligns, and analyzes SN Goenka's Vipassana Meditation technique. This study uses data collection techniques including participant observation, direct interviews, and document studies. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on data analysis, the following findings were obtained: Holistically, physical and mental causes are not obstacles but rather means to realize bodily sensations, not absolute causes. In sutra yoga theory, sila is in harmony with yama and niyama, emphasizing internal self-discipline. In conclusion, S.N. Goenka's Vipassana meditation technique is a spiritual path to self-transformation that is relevant to physical and mental health today.
2026-03-04T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Advances In Social Humanities Research https://adshr.org/index.php/vo/article/view/540 Visual Culture; Expanded Cinema and the Concept Of “Trisikon” as a Manifestation of Indonesia Cultural Diversity 2026-02-11T03:07:54+00:00 Sito Fossy Biosa 37021012@mahasiswa.itb.ac.id Yasraf Amir Piliang ya-piliang@bdg.centrin.net.id Hafiz Aziz Ahmad hafiz.a@itb.ac.id Tisna Sanjaya tisnasanjaya@yahoo.com

Visual culture understands cinematic practice not merely as aesthetic expression, but as a site of social meaning production shaped by the relationships between medium, space, and audience participation. Within this framework, expanded cinema opens new possibilities for experimental film practices that transcend conventional representational boundaries through multisensory and reflective experiences situated between reality, archive, and imagination. This research examines the concept of TRISIKON (three situations and conditions: live action, documentation–footage, and animation) as a cinematic creation model that manifests Indonesian cultural diversity through the dialectic of Chaos–Harmony, defined as the convergence of creative uncertainty and compositional order. Through a case study of the work Anemoia Utopia, Chaos–Harmony (cultural diversity) is interpreted not as a binary opposition but as a dynamic space reflecting relationships between humans, nature, and non-human entities within Indonesia’s plural cultural context. This study employs an art-based research methodology combined with a hermeneutic approach to interpret visual symbols, rhythms, and nonlinear narrative structures as intersections between aesthetic experience and social reality. The findings indicate that TRISIKON blurs the boundaries between documentation, performativity, and animation, transforming cinema into a participatory space that invites collective interpretation. Consequently, TRISIKON functions not only as an artistic method but also as an epistemological framework within visual culture studies, offering an understanding of cinema as a fluid and continually transforming cultural practice.
2026-02-21T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Advances In Social Humanities Research https://adshr.org/index.php/vo/article/view/544 Reconfiguration of the Authority of State Prosecutors After the Reform of the Prosecutor's Office: Legal Certainty and Public Authority Governance in Indonesia 2026-02-23T04:45:39+00:00 Michele Moreno mclmoreno28@gmail.com Fauzie Yusuf Hasibuan adv_fauzie@yahoo.com Maryano Maryano maryono_myn@gmail.com
This research examines the post-amendment reformulation of the authority of Indonesia’s State Attorneys within the Prosecutor’s Office and its implications for legal certainty. Using a doctrinal research design, the study analyzes amended statutory provisions, implementing regulations, judicial decisions, and selected comparative materials, combined with an informed literature screening process. The findings demonstrate a paradigmatic shift from a narrowly reactive litigation role toward a preventive and strategic model encompassing legal opinions, policy assistance, and project accompaniment. Nevertheless, the reform simultaneously introduces normatively open-textured clauses and limited procedural guidance, generating risks of overlapping competences, uneven administrative practice, and fragmented judicial interpretation. When assessed against theories of public authority, the rule of law, and good governance, the reform appears only partially aligned with the requirements of predictability, coherence, and accountability. The article contributes conceptually by proposing a legal-certainty-oriented framework for evaluating prosecutorial empowerment in administrative governance, and practically by identifying the need for harmonized secondary regulations, standardized coordination mechanisms, and strengthened external oversight. Overall, the study argues that institutional strengthening through legislative amendment must be accompanied by precise normative architecture to ensure that expanded prosecutorial functions reinforce, rather than undermine, the stability and credibility of the legal system and democratic public administration outcomes that are increasingly necessary in today’s world.
2026-02-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Advances In Social Humanities Research https://adshr.org/index.php/vo/article/view/542 The Transformation of Muhammadiyah School Education Through Values-Based Leadership and the Association Ecosystem: A Model of Sustainable Competitive Advantage Through Community Trust Mediation 2026-02-20T08:31:06+00:00 Fadillah Sabri fadillah.sabri@unmuhbabel.ac.id Iswan Iswan iswanfipum@gmail.com Dirgantara Wicaksono dirgantara.wicaksono@umj.ac.id
This research examines the effects of principal leadership (X?), the Superior Program of the Prophet’s Daily 7 Sunnahs (X?), and support from the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership/PDM (X?) on schools’ sustained competitive advantage (Z), with public trust (Y) as a mediator, at SMA Muhammadiyah Toboali, South Bangka Regency. The research employed an explanatory survey design with 370 respondents and analyzed the data using SEM-PLS (SmartPLS 4.0) with 5,000-subsample bootstrapping. The results show that all direct effects of X?, X?, and X? on Y and Z, as well as the effect of Y on Z, are positive and significant. Mediation analysis further confirms that Y partially mediates the relationships between X?, X?, and X? and Z; therefore, all research hypotheses are supported. The model demonstrates strong explanatory power for variations in public trust and sustained competitive advantage and indicates good predictive relevance. The findings emphasize that Muhammadiyah schools’ competitiveness is strengthened by values-based leadership, the institutionalization of religious habituation as a strategic capability, and organizational support from the Muhammadiyah association that builds public trust. Practically, schools should strengthen integrative leadership, ensure the consistent implementation of the 7 Sunnahs program as an organizational culture, enhance governance synergy with PDM, and systematically manage public communication and engagement to reinforce trust as a lever for sustained competitiveness.
2026-02-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Advances In Social Humanities Research https://adshr.org/index.php/vo/article/view/545 Reconstructing The Boundary Between Juvenile Delinquency and Crime as a Foundation for Juvenile Justice System Reform 2026-02-23T04:46:35+00:00 Lidya Dayana Sakti Negara dayanasakti711@gmail.com Fauzie Yusuf Hasibuan adv_fauzie@yahoo.com Maryano Maryano maryono_myn@gmail.com
The purpose of this research is to critically analyze the issue of unclear boundaries between the two concepts and to formulate a normative foundation that can serve as the basis for reconstructing a more proportionate and just juvenile criminal justice system. Employing a normative legal research approach with prescriptive analysis, the study reviews statutory regulations, doctrines of juvenile criminal law, and systematically selected academic literature. The findings reveal that the conflation of developmental misconduct with criminal behavior contributes to excessive criminalization of children, weakens the rehabilitative orientation of juvenile justice, and generates legal uncertainty in law-enforcement practices. The discussion situates these findings within theories of child development, the principle of the best interests of the child, and modern criminal-law paradigms that position punishment as an ultimum remedium. The article argues that juvenile justice reform cannot rely solely on procedural mechanisms such as diversion and restorative justice, but must begin with a conceptual reconstruction of the boundaries of juvenile criminal responsibility. The study’s contribution lies in strengthening a normative framework that distinguishes juvenile delinquency from criminal conduct in order to promote a more proportional, humane, and child-centered juvenile justice system. This framework is expected to inform policymakers, law-enforcement authorities, and scholars in developing consistent and rights-based juvenile justice policies aligned with international child-protection standards and restorative justice principles within democratic rule-of-law systems that respond to contemporary social change and long-term child-development challenges both globally and nationally.
2026-02-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Advances In Social Humanities Research
