The purpose of this study was to determine how much the relationship between knowledge and traditional cake purchasing decisions in UNJ Culinary Education students. In this study, researchers want to find answers about whether one variable affects other variables. This study uses a cross sectional approach, namely measuring dependent and independent variables simultaneously at the same time. The conclusions in this study include: 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between the variable of knowledge about traditional cakes and the variable of purchasing decisions in students of Culinary Education at Jakarta State University where the relationship is strong (0.70)
